Natural Homeopathic Remedies for TMJ Treatment

You are going to discover most effective natural homeopathy remedies for TMJ treatment, have a look at best-applying  homeopathic natural home remedies for Temporomandibular Joint Disorders.
TMJD treatment is on the lowest tier of medical expertise. There is no consensus of opinion. Nearly all treatment is private and the results are not in the public domain. The information about the results of treatments is not pooled as it should be and we have to rely all too often on anecdotal accounts of 'successes'. The result is that there are many unnecessary casualties of treatments and the same mistakes are repeated and allowed to be repeated. The diagnosis of the asymmetry and imbalance of the two joints should be confirmed. Which joint is lower or at a different position from the other? The asymmetry of the right and left arches be confirmed and the symptoms are correlated. Accordingly, the full arch splint is fabricated with 24 by 7 uses. If pain increases, splint needs to correctly adjust. Splint addresses the hard structure of the skull and jaw. If it is correctly addressed, the soft tissues, muscles, and nerves get balanced, otherwise, it cause more imbalance and more pain. This is the science of future in the medical field.

All joints need to work with the parts in a proper relationship in harmony with muscles. The difference with the TMJ for other joints in the body is that is affected by the position it is forced to be in by how the teeth fit together, So centric relation is an important starting point to bring the jaw joint components into the right position when to start evaluating and treat teeth or no teeth. Centric relation is reference position and this Reference position can be physiologic or deranged reference position. In TMD patients most of the times its deranged reference position!

Causes of TMJ!

  1. Head or Jaw injury
  2. Inflammation of bones or arthritis
  3. Calcium and mineral deficiency
  4. Bad sitting positions
  5. Head or jaw tumor
  6. Internal or external trauma
  7. Chewing hard things for a long time
  8. Chronic sinus problems
  9. Chronic inflammation of ear
  10. Improper teeth treatment

A doctor always starts every case with a Dental and medical history taking Then an extended examinations, impressions of both jaws. Face bow registration and Centric Relation okklusal index and protrusive index. This allows him to cast study models and mount this in an instrument called an articulator in the same. This can copy the patients jaw movements. He also takes x-rays of the TMJ in function and a series OG clinical Photos. All this gathered information is the analyzed. Then one arrives at one or several diagnosis. Based on the diagnosis gather tests may be warranted like MRI. The finding treatment options are discussed with the patient in a separate consultation and the treatment plan is presented. Often this may involve interdisciplinary treatment with chiropractors and physiotherapy. Mostly doctors always start with a reversible type of treatment which usually includes a bite appliance. It is a must to start with a reversible type of treatment. It is pointless to go to an irreversible type of treatment if you cannot treat the patients and get them symptom-free or much-reduced symptoms on a bite appliance. Surgery options bring hope in the patient to get better.

Symptoms of TMJ!

  1. Cannot open the mouth at full.
  2. Unbearable pain in lower or upper jaws
  3. Pain may move to ear canal
  4. Moving pain in eyes, neck, head or shoulders
  5. Cannot chew food easily
  6. Tearing pain may cause numbness in head
  7. TMJ pain is sometimes highly connected with sinus pain, so TMJ in a sinusitis patient is always worst.

There was a relatively recent post expressing concern with the use of the Mini Mitek anchor for disc re-positioning surgery and causing condylysis. The technique is well described by Dr. Wolford and if done correctly on the appropriate case the result is predictable and rewarding. The anchor is not put into the joint compartment and stabilizes the meniscus very efficiently. It is important there is no observable breakdown of the disc or the adjacent articular surfaces as seen on MRI or CT scan. Once this occurs a more radical clean out is required which still usually does well. Identification of other issues including muscle dysfunction is essential and requires treatment as mentioned by the above people. Issues such as sensitivities and breathing problems are clearly not in any way connected to surgery in the TMJ or any other joint in the body. The onset of these problems can occur in people with or without TMJ surgery. I suspect the anchor cases which showed progressive osteolysis had a high inflammatory component and would have deteriorated with or without the surgery. If you have bone loss in your joints I guarantee you you're going to have breathing issues. If you stick a piece of metal in someone's joint, you can't say that "clearly" they are not going to have some kind of reaction to it. To say that the reason that so many Mitek patients are going on to have TJR is because they would have needed TJR anyway is just irresponsible.

Some people out there that have very bad TMJ pain usually in masseter muscles and cheek area, normally they used to get Botox injections into both masseter muscles in the jaw and it seems to help the pain but it left them with large indentations in their cheeks because the Botox caused atrophy to their muscles.

The hard faced fact is that there is a massive lacking of evidence to support these claims between posture and occlusion. There may well be truth to connections between occlusion and posture, in fact, I'm certain there are interactions. So for the sake of arguments let’s just assume there is a causal link. This leads to asking why the evidence is lacking. The answer is quite simply the complexity makes it very difficult to investigate. Now take any complex disorder in medicine you will find a difficultly to investigate which translates as a difficulty to clinically manage. Our only hope lies in the progress of knowledge in these fields. How much attention do you think is being applied to this field? The unfortunate truth is that it is at such low levels it is wide open to charlatans making ridiculous claims with the selective anecdotal evidence to boot. The reality is we are decades plus away from having a good enough understanding of even the basic science so practitioners in this field need to develop some humbleness if you want to have some credibility. There is absolutely no way that anyone has a predictable protocol so the risk of doing damage with irreversible therapies is high.

One thing that I am certain about homeopathy is the great success rate. This is the reason why the people who believe it the most always got highest success rates. You could audit homeopathy Temporomandibular Joint Disorders treatment results and you will see the amazing trend of success is so high with-centric therapy. So this is actually a positive thing.

Be aware of a doctors and dentists that PROMISE anything. What should be given: Informed consent, with risks, benefits, pros/cons, because ANY medical, psychological, spiritual, emotional, physical ailment is multi-factorial, and hence, to guarantee or promise something is impossible in Allopathic treatment or surgery because they observe the whole organ not  the whole patient but in homeopathy we deal with the whole patient including his feelings, personality, and disorders. What our patients need is our "promise" of ethical and genuine care, to the best of our abilities, as we are not created equal in our skills or knowledge or experience. Honesty is the best policy and in homeopathy we can offer our patients HOPE.

Homeopathic Remedies for ITP Treatment and Cure

ITP is an autoimmune disorder that is very hard to diagnose. The very nature of an autoimmune disorder is there is no known cause or reason why they occur. Adult ITP does not go away. Childhood ITP can and usually does treated by hematologists. With ITP (low platelets) the lower the number the more bruising and darker you will see, this bruising can be caused just from a touch, also little pin like dots that are red, slight bruising is an indication the platelets are dropping but not dangerously low. ITP is idiopathic meaning it just happens. However they think strep throat and not finishing your antibiotics, poisonous blood, chronic stomach ulcers and miscarriage could cause it. Thrombocytopenia is the medical term mentioned the reduced number of platelets in the blood. Thrombocytes or platelets are nuclear of blood cells; it is mainly responsible for coagulation and consecutive enzymatic reactions in blood. It plays an important role in blood clotting. In a case of injury, these platelets play an important role in the formation of a blood clot and stop bleeding. Thrombocytopenia is a decrease of a platelet count below the level of 150 to 450 million in 1 ml blood samples and it could occur in humans and dogs.
Homeopathy cures ITP

Normally children have a better response to the ITP then adults, but with the standard treatment, the cure has a high rate. A recent study finds out, that platelet count increases when patients feel better generally, and decreases as their state of mind deteriorates. Your thrombocytopenia is autoimmune driven and most definitely linked to my mental state. Over 90% of diseases in humans are caused or convoluted by mental stress, so that's why homeopathy mental symptoms have preference over physical symptoms.

Symptoms and signs of low blood platelet count!
  1. The most typical is a skin-type mucosal bleeding, manifested as:
  2. Purple, bluish or blackish spots may appear on the skin.
  3. Easy hematoma even with a little hurt.
  4. There may bleed from nose without any reason.
  5. There may bleed of gums with or without brushing.
  6. There may start a disproportionate bleeding after minor skin injuries.
  7. Gastrointestinal bleeding may cause bloody stools without stomach ulcers or piles.
  8. Sometimes it may start bleeding into the urinary tract which causes bloody urine.
  9. Women got disproportionately heavy menstrual bleeding.
  10. There may start a significant bleeding during minor surgical cuts.

Possible Causes of Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura!
  1. This an autoimmune disease, still medical science is unable to trace the exact cause of ITP but various studies and research works show some possible causes of this deadly disease.
  2. Side effects of antibiotics may trim down the development of platelets in the bone marrow.
  3. An insect bite sometimes causes a venomous blood and it starts destroying the platelets.
  4. Chronic inflammation of kidneys may also lead to low platelets count.
  5. After effects of typhoid fever, malaria, dengue fever may also cause ITP at some age.
  6. Thrombocytopenia causes may include blood cancers, aplastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency, enlargement of the spleen, misuse of drugs, HUS, snake bites, poisonous stings, heavy drugs, HIV, chemotherapy, radiotherapy.

Possible risk factors of allopathic treatment!
ITP has failed to respond sufficiently to steroids and Azathioprine, and IVG has only a very temporary improvement in platelet count. Doctors don't know much about ITP, they just use a standard treatment and normally it works. But there are the chronic patients, where the cortisone treatment, the splenectomy, and the immunosuppressive treatment don't work and in that cases, the doctors don't know what to do next.

ITP most frequently asked questions!

1. Does a patient with ITP must require hospitalization?
A patient with ITP usually does not require hospitalization, but it urgently required if a patient got severe mucosal bleeding. All analytic tests and remedial decisions can be done on the complete checkup of the patient.

2. What is a safe level of platelets count?
The number of platelets in itself is not a sign of the risk of bleeding; the bleeding rate also depends on various other causes (vessel permeability, blood clotting, immune status). Generally, a safe threshold for spontaneous bleeding regarded value thrombi 30 x 10 9 / l, and the platelets count should be according to clinical diagnostics.

3. What are the symptoms of intracranial hemorrhage?
The first clinical sign is an unwanted headache and other symptoms of intracranial hypertension include vomiting, vertigo, hang around, unawareness of mind, spasm, etc with the existence of bleeding from the retina.

4. How to avoid intracranial hemorrhage, what are the other risk factors?
Risk factors include the value of platelets below 20 x 10 9 / l and the administration of aspirin with a head injury. There is always a bigger risk for children with momentous mucosal bleeding symptoms. Usually, it could happen at any age and at any time interval.

5. Does ITP aggravated by vaccination? How to continue vaccination after acute ITP?
Vaccination may fast up the ITP symptoms. Most doctors suggest a gap of 3 months for vaccination in case of acute ITP cases, but in chronic cases, one should take several diagnostic tests to take any vaccination.

6. Does an acute ITP come back?
The danger of reversion of ITP is not so high in acute cases, but still there are minor chances of setback. If it comes back, you should consult your doctor with your complete medical history.

7. Does a lifestyle and eating habits also have an effect on your platelets level?
Yes, a bad lifestyle, such as living in a polluted area, no exercise, bad sleep trimmings, social problems, financial crises and eating unhealthy or processed food could drop your platelets count level.

8. Do the infants also victimize by ITP?
ITP disorder in infancy is rare, but it exists. In early infancy (up to 3 months) should be expelled alloimmune thrombocytopenia. Clinical manifestations are similar to those of older children; the first symptom could be a petechial rash on arms, legs or anywhere on the body but the risk of internal bleeding is minor.

9. What are the possible option for and ITP patient to get back normal range of platelets count?
Splenectomy and bone marrow transplant are the possible options which sometimes help a patient to get back a safe level of platelets count but still there are various risk factors.

10. Is there any cure for ITP in alternative medicines?
Yes, alternative medications such as, herbal, Ayurvedic and homeopathy claims to cure ITP, but the success rate of ITP cured with homeopathy is 100%.

What is Splenectomy?
Splenectomy is the surgical withdrawal of the whole or some part of the spleen. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and requires approximately one-week hospitalization. It's always hard to make a decision, because a surgery isn't something to take it lightly, but also taking drugs all time isn't good either, They usually do not consider splenectomy for children as there is a high incidence of it going into remission spontaneous (for kids that are- but it can take some time.) They tend to treat symptomatically for youngsters due to the potential side effects for growing youngsters. Besides ITP splenomegaly is suggested in many other diseases, like cirrhosis, cancer, since. Leukemia’s and lymphomas etc.

Warnings for patients with thrombocytopenia!
  • Stay away from all kind of preservative foods and soft drinks.
  • It is not recommended to use drugs like aspirin that affect platelet function, as well as anticoagulants medicines in patients with a history of venous thrombosis.
  • Do not use spicy foods and fast foods.
  • Excessive alcohol use is also unfortunate for people with low platelets.
  • Do not take apart in hard sports, like baseball, soccer, hockey, wrestling, etc.

Difficult Baby Teeth Dentition Treatment in Homeopathy – Cure Case

Small boy, 10 months old, has troubles with very difficult falling asleep, difficult dentition and strong anger. The problems are caused by difficult dentition. He wants to be rocked (3) but cries and screams although he is doing so. His whole psychological condition is much worse during the night while during the day he is completely normal psychologically.

Follow-up 2 weeks after the remedy: Falls asleep very quickly without any problems and psychologically much calmer, no hysteria's or anger.

In the case report bellow, there is information given by the mother and father without any confirmatory symptoms, there are just hints. Your mission is to put right questions and confirm correct remedy. Please do not put names of remedies without questioning for other keynotes to confirm it. This is not quiz for finding the remedy only but also for you to develop correct line of thinking during the process of case taking. Good luck to everybody.
Baby Teeth Dentition

Summary of the case for the students of homeopathy:

Here is what homeopathic remedy given to baby for difficult dentition! At the very beginning of the case I was suspecting Chamomilla due to the marked amelioration by rocking together with the fact that complaints were accentuated to a significant degree during dentition. What did not go with Chamomilla was the marked aggravation during the whole night and also the fact that rocking ameliorated but the aggression and anger was so strong that this amelioration was not complete to the point known in Chamomilla that child would become calm altogether when rocked. We know that Chamomile’s worst time is 9 pm and also that anger is triggered by pain. All these symptoms were in this case during the night only.

At this point I said to myself: look, you have case in front of you that looks like Chamomilla but anger is stronger and amel by rocking has therefore lesser effect. Cina was the remedy that came to my mind at this moment and I asked mother if there is any position in sleep which the child prefers. Mother answered: he sleeps only on abdomen. Then I put together this symptom (which is keynote for Cina) with other symptoms already known from the case and my suspicion for Cina was stronger. I asked for boring nose with fingers and both parents says: nothing like this but he rubbing nose constantly which is also strong keynote of Cina. Finally I asked for appetite as there is main difference between Chamomilla and Cina and mother said: whenever he eat, he overeat himself and very soon wants to eat again. So that was definite confirmation for me to give Cina.

Lesson coming from this case:

1) Don’t be a routine prescriber and don’t give Chamomilla immediately in every case of difficult dentition unless you don’t know the peculiarities of a case and complete picture.

2) if you find a one or two confirmatory symptoms, ask more, go further in your investigation to be absolutely sure and to know every single symptom because during follow-up you need compare all these symptoms, not only part of it and the last but not least, you have done a great job here! I hope you enjoyed it.
